In these fusion dance classes, Zosia Fae fuses traditional Middle Eastern raqs sharqi (bellydance) with elements of flow dance.
Each session will begin with mindful breathing techniques and then will be followed by fun dance combinations that can be practiced to your favorite music! This will be a personal exploration of the self as you learn ways to create your own safe space through dance and movement.
In this class you will learn the basic foundations of traditional belly dance and flow fusion dance. You will learn to slow down through dance and use the breath as an anchor.
Wear clothes suitable for working out that shows your movements for more accurate critique.
A hip scarf is preferred, but not necessary. No coin belts or noisy belts, please.
