Join us for a mindful lunch in the lavender garden on Friday, July 19th at 11am (CDT). Meet Lakeside Lavender and Herbs owners, Certified Herbalist, Doreen and, “the lavender guy”, Mike King, as they share their story, as well as info about the lavender and herbs grown on the grounds. Mary Beth Schramlin, owner of A Mindful Place, will offer tips on how to eat more mindfully and the health benefits gained. You’ll have an opportunity to pracrtice learned skills while dining on lunch prepared by LaPorte’s own, Cafe Trilogy. Spend some time mindfully walking in the Lavender Labyrinth. All while you are bathed in the sounds of Susan & Sarah on the crystal bowls. And, before you go, don’t forget stop for a visit in the farm store. Our goal is to provide a relaxed learning opportunity surrounded by the charm of an afternoon “garden party”. Sun hats are welcome
