My yoga journey began in January 2020. I took my first class, and signed up for the unlimited yoga membership on my way out. I quit smoking one week later. Yoga gave me other coping mechanisms. I remember one of my 1st yoga classes, Lisa went around the room and asked everyone, ” What does your body need today?”…I was confused by the question. I didn’t know what my body needed, that’s why I was here! Savasana, corpse pose…. I couldn’t understand why we were laying still on the floor for so long. Yoga taught me to breathe. To slow down. Trust. Let go. Surrender. It brought me out of my thinking mind and into my feeling body. It wasn’t long before I could always answer what my body needs today, and I look forward to Savasana! Yoga seriously saved me.
I graduated RYT 200 hour at The Awakening Realm in September 2021. I received my Level 1 Reiki certification in December 2020, and level 2 Reiki certification in October 2021. I love sharing my passions for Yoga and Reiki with others!
